Small fishing villages that dot the coastline as we drive through areas still unscaved by the modern world. A church that was built in the 1860’s, all by ships one by one that brought wood into this remote region of Patagonia Chile. Once along time ago, this valley and its cattle trails used as a hideout for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, thus continuing the wonderland of towering high peaks
that tell the tales of yesteryear, lined with native woods and Alerce forest second only in age to the Sequoia gigantea of Northern California. A legend that reigns true unknown to most, that some places on earth are still left untouched by mans need to grow in every direction.

Our 3rd day out and we haven’t seen another boat!
And boy was this river on fire..
Dave then jumped out of the boat with one on and continued to fish this awesome riffle.
Scott enjoyed the scenery and the climate difference from Idaho.
Trout were always at home near structure at the Snag Hotel.
With bugs flying every where, we still gave it the thumbs-up!

Every where we looked we couldn’t help but to feel that we were all in our element that day.

Carola made her famous gnocchi with fresh baked breads. Yea, this was a wonderful lunch, served with another great Chilean wine.
After lunch we hooked into Leroy Brown!

What in the % # @ (*^ % # @ * was this guy thinking? Fish are every where…? Since there were no passengers (though we were looking for carnage or bodies) It still qualifies as 3 complete days without another soul on the river.
Another turn of the river another striking and awesome view.
Pocket water using stone flies is another great way to spend a day in the Patagonia. These rivers have no dams, so the scenes early season are raw and wild. The river chooses its course at what ever speed it likes, not impailed by dams foreign to its forces of Mother Nature.

The GPS says that Dona Dominga is this weeks winner of the Chilean Winer Award.
It can be found every where throughout Chile and is a great value and taste for under $6 USD per bottle. A nice Cab, that starts out fruit-forward, with a hint of oak and remains balanced down the hatch!
I like wines that are not spicy, but have some character, this one won’t you let you down as far as lunch wines go.
Relax, you’re in Patagonia…..

I have a 3.8 acre parcel, an 8.14 acre parcel and a 26 acre parcel on the Trinity River for sale (Del Loma). The properties have water from a well (vs river or stream) + electricity with water frontage of 400¢â¡Á, 800¢â¡Á and 1200¢â¡Á respectfully. The 26 acre parcel has access to Bergman¢â¡Ás hole/BLM property.
Do you know anyone interested in Trinity River vacation property? The 8.14 acre parcel has a small cabin on it, etc.

Hey Jack – I’d like to purchase a dozen minnows from you and I’d like you to tell me how to get the materials to make them myself…I don’t know my address yet, but I will tonight or tomorrow.
The action on them is incredible – I’ve never seen anything fish this well. The next best action I know (for stripping back to the boat) is the clouser that jigs on the strip.
I forgot to tell you that I already knew the thumb on top strip – I got it from a guide about ten years ago looking for stripers in MA, and what I was going to tell you is that you are doing as right as I know.
